Hey, Itch! We at SpudCannonGames have taken the liberty of unleashing on you a very early build of our game, Oh! Those Brave Canyon Pilots. This game is currently in the works and we're hoping for a releasable version sometime in the next year, or so. OTBCP (much easier than typing the whole stupid name), is a game about being a brave and quick-witted spaceship pilot, racing through an array of alien canyons. Right now, players can race against the leaderboard times or against themselves (with a really dodgy ghost mechanic), whilst trying to get to grips with the difficult-to-master ships and circuits. Eventually, we plan to have downloadable ghosts for leaderboard times, real-time racing against friends and customizable, unlockable content to improve (or hobble, if you get it wrong), your ships. We want the players to be able to customize the ships and battle each other with builds as well as raw racing talent.

This is the very beginning of the journey for us, so we are using this opportunity to give players a chance to try the basic game for free and to provide us with feedback, if they're feeling kind. We're also collecting anonymised usage data to tell us whether you're doing one lap and giving up, or several laps, amongst other things such as the total playtime you are putting in. This is completely optional and there is a button on the home screen to allow you to opt out.
